HOW LONG DO LASH EXTENSIONS LAST?
Natural eyelashes have a life span and growth cycle; they will grow to a specific length before shedding, your lash extensions will fall out with your natural lashes. It is important to look after your lash extensions and to follow you aftercare card to ensure they last the full life span.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I GET REFILLS?
Every 2-4 weeks – depending on your lash growth cycle and how you care for your lashes will determine how frequently you need to get refills.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
A full set of lash extension can take between 60 – 90 minutes.
Lash refills can take between 30 – 45 minutes.
ALLERGIC REACTION OR IRRITATION
If you or anyone you know has had what was thought to be an allergic reaction or irritation to lash extensions and has wondered if they are really allergic.
HOW DO I CARE FOR THEM?
Brow&lashco have created their own lash shampoo to ensure your lash extension are kept hygienic and clear of any left-over make-up or bacteria. Be sure to follow your after-care instructions to keep up the maintenance of your lashes.
WILL IT DAMAGE MY NATURAL LASHES?
When lash extensions are properly applied, they will not damage your natural eyelashes. Your natural lashes are always shedding and grow back in 4-6 weeks, the extension should simply fall off with your natural lash. The extensions themselves should not cause your lashes to fall out or become damaged unless your technician is applying extensions that are too long or heavy for your natural lash. Brow&lashco girls will always ensure that we customise the extensions to suit and protect your natural lash and only attaching 1 extension to 1 lash.

WHAT IS A BROW LAMINATION?
A brow lamination is a service that gives your natural brow a fuller and fluffier look lasting up to 6 weeks.
WHY DOES THE BROW LAMINATION ONLY LAST UP TO 6 WEEKS?
This is due to the natural hair growth cycle, over time the hairs naturally fall out and replace themselves.

WHEN AM I ABLE TO GET ANOTHER BROW LAMINATION?
As we can’t double process your brow hair, you have to wait until all laminated ones have fallen out, this is usually at 6 weeks.
WHY DO MY BROWS LOOK CRIMPED AND CURLY AFTER A TREATMENT?
This is due to the brow hairs being over processed or dehydrated.
WHY DID ONE BROW LIFT MORE THAN THE OTHER?
This is common and also due to one side being oily or stronger than the other
MY BROWS WERE PROPERLY LAMINATED WHEN I LEFT THE SALON BUT THE NEXT DAY WERE RELAXED AGAIN, WHY IS THIS?
You may have exposed your brows to water, it is important to keep them set for up to 24 hours post treatment.
WAXING
WHAT IS EYEBROW SHAPING?
Your brows are measured and shaped based off the current bone structure of the face, your skin is assessed and the correct wax is used to remove all unwanted hair.
WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF WAX?
A thin layer of strip wax is applied to the working area and removed with a fabric strip while hot wax is a thicker consistency and does not require a fabric strip for removal.
CAN MY AGE CAUSE MY BROWS TO APPEAR THINNER?
Unfortunately yes as we age our hair follicles can become less active or even dormant.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I GET MY BROWS DONE?
Most common clients will come back 3-4 weeks for a clean up but a reshape is anything 8 weeks or longer.
HOW CAN I ENCOURAGE MY BROWS TO GROW?
Using a growth serum every day should allow you to see results in approximately 2 months time. At brow and lash co we recommend and stock eyenvy.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I AM NOT ACHIEVING THE RESULT I WANT FOR MY BROWS?
Your brows only hold potential for so many styles based on the underlying structure of the natural brows. The technician can only manipulate so much therefore mapping brows and thorough explanation is always necessary.
DO WAXING TREATMENTS HURT?
Depends on the individuals pain tolerance.
TINTING
HOW LONG DOES TINTING LAST?
Tint will last 2 – 6 weeks depending on skin and hair type.
HOW LONG AFTER BROW TINT CAN I WASH MY FACE?
Allow the brows to remain dry for 8 hours before washing.
CAN YOU WEAR MASCARA WITH A LASH TINT?
Yes of course, we recommend waiting 24 hours before applying.
DOES BROW TINTING RUIN YOUR BROW HAIRS?
No, it is perfectly safe.
DOES EYELASH TINTING RUIN YOUR EYE LASHES?
No, due to it being so close to the eye area you should always have the treatment performed by a trained professional to avoid all risks.
HOW OFTEN CAN I GET MY BROWS AND EYE LASHES TINTED?
Getting them tinted as regularly as every two weeks is okay.
SPRAY TANS
WHAT IS A PROFESSIONAL SPRAY TAN?
A spray tan, also known as a fake tan is a product applied to the skin to give the appearance of a darker tanned complexion. The process of a professional spray tan is where the therapist sprays a fine mist of product directly on to the clients skin to get an even and professional finish.
HOW LONG DOES A SPRAY TAN LAST?
A spray tan generally lasts 7-10 days. However, excessive sweating, swimming and exfoliating can cause the tan to fade quicker than usual.
DO I NEED TO DO ANYTHING BEFORE I GET A SPRAY TAN?
At brow and lash co we suggest shaving and exfoliating 24 hours prior to the appointment and to come wearing loose fitted clothing. We also recommend coming free from perfumes, deodorant and body lotion.
HOW CAN I MAKE MY SPRAY TAN LAST LONGER?
It is important to keep the skin hydrated so at brow and lash co we recommend the tuscan tan toner and extender to help keep the spray tan looking fresh and last as long as possible.
ARE ALL SPRAY TANS THE SAME?
Not all spray tans are the same. There are two main differences in tans, the development time and the colour base. At brow and lash co we have the option of a 90 minute express tan or the overnight 8 hour tan. We also have a range of colour bases to choose from. The most popular being the green and violet.
HOW DO I REMOVE AN OLD SPRAY TAN?
When removing old tan, we suggest the use of tuscan tan exfoliating sugar scrub to tackle the stubborn and dry areas. Always remember to use a moisturiser post exfoliation to keep the skin hydrated.
TEETH WHITENING
WHO IS THIS TREATMENT SUITABLE FOR?
This treatment is suitable for anyone with tooth discolouration.
IS THIS TREATMENT SAFE?
Yes, this is a completely safe treatment.
WHAT ARE THE SIDE EFFECTS?
There are no side effects to this treatment.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
The process takes 60 minutes.
WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS?
Results are visible straight after the treatment.
HOW LONG DO RESULTS LAST?
Results will last 6-9 months but is dependant on if you’re a smoker and eating habits.
CAN I GET THIS TREATMENT WHILST I’M PREGNANT?
No, this treatment isn’t suitable for anyone who’s pregnant or breastfeeding.
HOW DO I MAKE RESULTS LAST LONGER?
To help retain results we recommend you brush your teeth twice daily and floss.
WHAT SHOULD I AVOID?
We recommend you avoid smoking, red wine, coffee and black tea.
DOES THIS TREATMENT CAUSE SENSITIVITY?
You may experience a little sensitivity whilst having the treatment and up to 2 days after.
WHAT SHOULD I DO PRIOR TO THE TREATMENT?
To reduce the chance of post-treatment sensitivity, brush your teeth very gently the night before and morning of treatment and avoid brushing gums.
CAN I EAT PRIOR TO A TREATMENT?
Yes, there is no need to avoid food prior to a treatment.
WHEN SHOULD I GET A TOUCH UP TREATMENT?
A touch up treatment is recommended at 6 months.
WHEN AM I ABLE TO EAT AFTER A TREATMENT?
You’re able to eat straight after a treatment, just being careful to avoid foods that can cause re staining.

SHIPPING POLICY
PAYMENT:
– Brow and Lash Co accepts the following forms of payment: PayPal / Afterpay / Credit Card (via PayPal).
DELIVERY – AUSTRALIA:
– All Australian orders are shipped using Australia Post.
– Australian customers have the option of their parcel being sent via Standard or Express post.
– Standard Post: 10 – 14 business days. Flat rate of $10 AUD.
– All orders placed Monday through to Friday before 2pm AEST will be dispatched the same day.
– All orders placed on weekends, public holidays or after 2pm AEST will be dispatched the next business day.
– Please note that during periods of high demand (e.g. holidays and sale periods), delivery times can take an additional business day.
– Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email that includes necessary information to track your parcel. Please allow 24 hours from the dispatch date for the tracking service to work.
– Australia Post delivers between 8am to 6pm on Monday through to Friday.
– Please ensure all delivery details are correct as once the parcel leaves our facility we are unable to change any information or intercept the item.
– In a rare circumstance, Brow and Lash Co is not liable to refund or replace an item if your parcel is lost in transit, once it has been dispatched from our facility.
– Once your parcel is dispatched from our facility Brow and Lash Co is no longer liable. In a rare circumstance if your item was lost or stolen in transit, Brow and Lash Co bears no responsibility to refund or replace your item.
DELIVERY – INTERNATIONAL:
– We deliver internationally using Australia Posts Pack & Track service. For countries outside of Pack & Tracks destination, we will use Australia Posts Registered Post service. This service cannot be tracked.
– New Zealand customers will be charged a flat rate of $15 AUD for pack and track services.
– All other international locations will be charged a flat rate of $34.95 AUD for shipping services.
– Standard International Shipping can take up to 7 – 10 business days to be delivered.
– Please note that in some circumstances the addressee may be responsible for import duties and taxes on their parcel. This may be required due to the countries customs regulations and government’s policies and is the responsibility of the receiver. In addition, some orders may experience customs delays. Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges or delays and cannot predict what they may be. We suggest that you contact your local customs office for additional information.
– Once your parcel is dispatched from our facility Brow and Lash Co is no longer liable. In a rare circumstance if your item was lost or stolen in transit, Brow and Lash Co bears no responsibility to refund or replace your item.
CHANGE OF MIND ITEMS:
– We value each and every one of our Brow and Lash Co customers and want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. We offer credit notes for change of mind items. Please follow the below steps to have your return processed.
– Email info@browandlashco.com with all of your exchange details including your order number and tracking number. We will get back to you within 24 business hours with a return form for you to fill out & send back with your parcel.
– We do not accept change of mind items if you have not contacted customer support within 14 days of purchase.
– We do not accept returns on change of mind items. We also do not exchange or return sale items.
– Brow and Lash Co does not cover postage for change of mind items
– We do not accept returns that have been used or are not in their original packaging. Bags are to be sent back in their original dust bag and shoes in their original box. If we receive a return that we deem worn or not in it’s original packaging it will be sent back at the cost of the customer.
– Brow and Lash Co does not offer full refunds for items that are an incorrect size. We only offer credit notes for pieces that are incorrect sizes.
– All returns will be processed and dealt with on a Thursday.
FAULTY AND DAMAGED GOODS:
– We take pride in our products and offer our customers a 9-month warranty period. If a manufacturing fault occurs under normal use (not wear and tear), please email info@browandlashco.com with your full name, order number and tracking number with a detailed description of the fault. A customer support member will be in contact with you within 24 business hours.
– Our customer support team will try and give the best solution depending on the matter of the fault.
– If a faulty item needs to be sent back to our Head Office it will undergo a quality review. Warranty of the product will not be honored if the item has been mistreated or if the quality control team declare the fault as general wear and tear.
– If cleared by our quality and control team, expect to receive an email outlining our analysis. If we are unable to supply you with a replacement, we can offer a store credit or refund. If a refund is required it will be provided via the form of payment used in the original transaction.
– All returns will be processed and dealt with on a Wednesday.
– Brow and Lash Co is not liable to replace or repair any items purchased through a stockist. If an item was not purchased through Brow and Lash Co directly, the customer will need to contact the stockist directly.
AFTERPAY:
– By selecting AfterPay at checkout, you can pay for your order over 4 fortnightly installments. Your order will be shipped immediately after your initial payment and you’ll have it in no time. Before you ask, don’t worry.. there’s no interest or added fees.
